New C47 from Manfred Jahn

Very nice Huub!

Any chance for a camo version (like the one that was parked at the MLM) in the future? :wiggle:

There is always a chance Ferry! Currently I have planned to do the ZU-6 (the one I'm currently working on) and after that the unavoidable X-8. As I do have limited time, I do not plan any further.

Cheers,
Huub

Just uploaded the corrected C47_interior.zip. Available at Flightsim later today, probably.

The revised readme reads like this -

(2) As was mentioned elsewhere, in Virtual Cockpit view you are unlikely
to see much if anything unless you zoom out a bit and/or move
forward a bit (Ctrl-Backspace) and then use the hatswitch to pan
around.

That last part is sooo true. I noticed that whatever the DC3 be it maam-sim or yours
if you do Step 2 above you will see that port engine. Only thing is you could potentially
put yourself high in the saddle (so to speak) and your face would be pressed up against
the windshield...kinda like driving the old VW bug. So I guess its all in moderation or a balance
of low enough in the seat to read the instruments and still have some view of the left wing/engine....
Thanks for the "FIX" it's way more better........ :C)

Using TrackIR I have no trouble seeing either engine from my
normal left and right VC positions. That is why I am adamant about
full modeling of both wings and all engines in the VC (interior) model for
any aircraft I put on my system.

I was happy to see the new interior model created for Manfred's C-47
so that there is now at least one that has both wings and both engines visable.

Same here! :ernae:

Manfred, and absolute joy!
And Huub, thanks for the KLM repaint.

Maybe the interior textures could get a KLM look as well (was there one?)

Cheers, Rob

ARGGHHH, Rob, you disappoint me (just kidding ;) ) I have spend several hours to mix the right grey shade for the interior and you don't even see it! (Manfred's original model has a green interior)

I have found this picture from an unknown KLM C-47 on the web: http://www.airliners.net/photo/KLM---Royal/Douglas-C-47...-Skytrain/1247189/M/

Cheers,
Huub

Sorry Huub, I thought Manfred already did a grey and a green interior, I din't realise you mixed a new shade of grey:kilroy: hihi!

Great looking paint Huub!

Thanks to Manfred Jahn and all the painters! This plane is a real joy to fly!:ernae:

Sorry to admit this but I have't been able to load Manfred's C-47 aircraft, no matter what I do. I follow the read me file to no avail. Can anybody give me a clue?

The Royal Dutch Air Force ZU-5 has been uploaded at the usual places (Here, Flightsim and Avsim). I hope you like it....

I haven't got a clue as it went quite smooth here and all required files are in the package so that can't be the problem as well.
