With the mini towers, I would also think twice. Good price
but what happens if you want to upgrade the storage, RAM, or GPU? How many sets of tweezers do you have?
With our shared love of old sims, ask yourself if you really need
anything with "gaming" in the title.

Are the rainbow LEDs
really that important?
It seems to me that a constant light show would be a distraction when you can least afford it.
For the OP's consideration, check out this thread:

I'm not saying this is the end-all-be-all of simming rigs, but the hardware has impressed me so far. I purposely shopped for a small-biz oriented PC. They tend to last longer (also, no "bloatware" to remove). Another idea might be to wait another month and look for "back to school" specials. These are all considered "low entry" rigs. No water coolers, no "showboat" features, nothing really to set the world on fire, but they tend to last and are built to work for 16 hours per day, every day (or just never shut them off).

So, I'm in with this rig for under a grand. I've already added a cheap fanless GPU and a better M.2 drive is showing up early next week. That should be all the mods I want to add to the build.
So, (IMO) do your homework. Concentrate on what you
need over what you want. Look at the specs of the hardware. Ask that last question again.
Don't be afraid to say "no". I shopped-out the new tower for something like 6 weeks before I placed the order.
