New ship conversions released by Thudman

Thudman submitted a new resource:

CFS3_FNS_Courbet - French battleship Courbet for CFS3

These models represent the Marine Nationale Courbet Class Battleships in 1913 and the Courbet 1939 form.
The latter have heavier AA armament. The Courbet was scuttled in 1944 to create part of the breakwater in Normandy. This is Stuart277's gmax model originally built for CFS2 converted to CFS3 using the gmax source files Stuart included with his CFS2 ship

There are two ships in this download.
FNS_CourbetClass1913
FNS_Courbet1939

hi there, haven't been around for a while..if anyone wants any parts or bits relating to japanese ships etc, sing out!..I have a gmax scene chock full of guns, flags and other random bits I don't mind sharing..I also have a in progress model of the Yamato (working, but far from finished..) that I can send out for mission development etc..personally would like to see it being played with even unfinished than sitting around doing nothing..again,stuarts work is awesome and I'm glad to see it being converted to cfs3..damn I miss playing with my planes ha ha..
cheers!,Jason..

Hi Major..
To answer your question, no, I haven't gotten around to finishing the Yamato yet..there's been several reasons for this, between a computer that's always struggled with cfs3, work, and maybe my ambition being ahead of my gmax skill level..however,the ship is currently at a more or less fully functional/ testable stage,so I see no reason that mission builders can't make use it in the meantime..
cheers!,Jason..

Thudman submitted a new resource:

IJN_Unyru_Class_Carriers - IJN Unryu class carriers for CFS3

The Unryu class aircraft carriers were World War II Japanese aircraft carriers. The Unryu-class aircraft carrier design was very similar to that of Hiryu. The main difference from Hiryu was that the carriers' island was placed on the starboard side of the ships. Only 3 ships of the planned 16 were completed

There are 6 ships in this file:

IJN_Unyru
IJN_Unyru_Full_Height
IJN_Amagi
IJN_Amagi_Full_Height
IJN_Katsuragi
IJN_Katsuragi_Full_Height

I made a high resolution version of the IJN_Unyru_t.dds file to smooth out the stair-step edges in the camo patterns. Just make sure you replace or delete every other copy of this file in your install or the original version may still show up.
