Vinieron muchos alemanes emocionados. Todavía tenemos muchos problemas con escudos con insignias ofensivas aqui.
Abrazo
Mario

Yes... I saw the stuff in the net...

G.u

No te apresures!

you know Live translate is horrible.

Max,

The high res might not be nessesary but I still like it. Everything that you all are doing with the ships is great. Just need a few more WWI ships and I will be happy.

I'm considering doing some small boats. A few fishing boats and wooden speed boats. That last "Top Gear" special got me interested in the 1930's speed boats.

Yeah my friend you can repaint or retexture all models.
But I try to get similar texture look in ships, for example the british Vn colection and Stuart have the same texture style, this is lot more realistic and easier to identify that a hight res texture different in each model. It is assumed that each marine uses the same color tones of materials and paints in their models.

The Vn Pearl harbor models, are really fantastic all the model matching together, look like armonic, they are not in high rest and look much more realistic than the usio in my opinión.

Some simmers make a really fantastic models, but heavy poligons no breaking parts, nothing to do with stándar cfs2 models of the game, and add shine that in same case look like a plastics models.I do not like that but it is my opinión.

I like the way of the guys like Allen, tango romero(unshining your model), gramps, IS4G, mauro giacomacci,FDG v2,graham, B-24guy(unshine models),etc.
and this is the way that I am running with my proyects.

Stuart was done an excellent job with the British models they look like the continuation of Vn british colection. Thanks Stuart for that!.It is just a armonic put combine any of these and no doubt to identify which side are at a glance.

Talking about paints.............

...you guys are aware that the navies all used different shades of grey depending on where the primary area the ship was assigned to. For instance North Atlantic ships tended to use a deeper shade of grey on their hulls. Those assigned to the South Atlantic tended to be lighter and while those in say the Persian Gulf almost tended to be a off-white blend.
Then you get to the individual navies and their preferences on the shades.
