I was recently reading a book titled HMS Saracen by a Douglas Reeman. One of several under this authors name. The subject was of life, and action, on a monitor and remembered that you had posted one. No relevance, but I thought that you might be interested in the writer as he was a serving member of the RN during WW2 in European and MTO theaters and seems to draw on his knowledge of operations there-in. I find him to have been a very good writer and prolific.
He also writes following the career of a naval officer in the age of sail. From middie to Captain. The character is named Richard Bolithio and these books are written under the name of Alexander Kent. Great Reads !
