• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

I just sent an e-mail to Avangate asking that question and they said that they are shipping from the US..

Well, that´s a bummer!:censored:
In the worst case i now have to pay additional 10,- Euros for customs plus the time (sometimes more than 10 days) for handling through customs.

Well of course i can´t speak for Greece but if German customs is controlling a shipment from the US and the shipments worth exceeds 22,- Euros i have to pay turnover tax for imports plus custom fees (all in all around 19% of the value of goods including the shipping costs). Not to speak from the timely delay because in my experience it could take up to two weeks for customs to handle some shipments and in the worst worst case the invoice is missing or unreadable and i have to drive to the customs office to pick up the package.

I´m a little baffled because judging from the website Avangate is a long time international operating company and they should be able to ship goods for the US and Canada from North America and goods from Europe, well from Europe (big sorry to the guys in Asia, Australia and New Zealand but i guess you guys already know that you are screwed when it comes shipping). Battlefront for example is shipping stuff for their European purchasers from Ireland and for the rest of the world from the US.
