This unique single engine twin rotor helicopter is a heavy lifting powerhouse. Only the same size as the Bell UH-1/205 Huey, the K-Max can lift some 2,000lbs more than the Huey, and roughly 1,000lbs more than the twin engine Bell 212. The K-Max can lift an impressive 6,000lbs. In other words, it can lift it's own body weight. This is due to it's unique coaxial rotor design.
