Hee Hee, thank you gentlemen. The coat would have made a very nice WW1 flying coat. The story is this; when my wife went to Michigan last summer to visit her mom, she and her sister went up to Canada to help clear out an old house where the elderly folks in the house had passed away. There were two coats in the stuff that was being thrown out, a mink and this bearskin coat. My wife called me and said she was sending home by mail a couple of things she had found to take apart and make hats out of or whatever. So, one fine day the boxes arrived and I opened them and saw this coat and put it on and told her under no circumstances was she to come near it with any kind of cutting implements whatsoever. It fits perfectly and it is really warm...the wind doesn't cut thru it at all. I now know why bears are comfortable in the winter, lol. Plus, she got the mink which is also a very nice winter coat.
