How about the extremely rare & hardly un-heard of Swiss Federal Aircraft Factory N-20 "Aiguillon" prototype jet?

Sure would have been an obvious candidate fer 'Piglet's Peculiars'. If he was still around FS9 :(
 
Not that it's rare in the world but it's rare in FS. How about an Alouette II helicopter? I just posted a thread trolling for interest.

An airliner version was also planned, and PanAm actually ordered it as the 'DC-7'. After the war it became obvious that a better design could be made, so only fourteen C-74 Globemasters were built. The airliner version was cancelled, and the military version was developed into the C-124 Globemaster II with a much larger fuselage. The C-97 was Boeing's military version of the B377 Stratocruiser. the plane in your pick is miss labeled in the files. It is a C-74
 
How about a Weatherly 620 A/B

Well i know one most of you wouldn't of heard of,a Weatherly 620 A/B, one of the most efficent ag planes produced. I currently own the only one in Australia. I used to be a dealer for them. It would be great if some one made one of these for FS9 and FSX

How did you find a thread that last lived almost two years ago??
I can't get earlier than the 7 pages of history starting in December 2010!
 
Lockheed made a couple of really neat rigid-rotor helicopters back in the Sixties in the form of the Model 186/XH-51A/CL-575, which led to the AH-56 Cheyenne attack helicopter which, according to most accounts, was a better machine than the AH-64 Apache.

There was an experimental Curtiss Hawk biplane that I've ever only seen one photo of in an ancient issue of Air Classics. It had a very smooth, closely cowled, liquid-cooled V-12 (?) engine and a prop with a large, conical spinner as well as wheel pants - very sleek looking ship.

I'd also love to see a Percival Mew Gull from the time it made an appearance in the classic British sci-fi film "Things to Come". I've had Lee Hall's example of the later record breaking P6 racer version, but I think it's longer. angular lines and lower canopy spoiled the look of it.

I've always liked 1930's parasol monoplanes and here's a real beauty: the Stinson Model "O".
But the one model I would really love is an Ultraflight Lazair III ultralight for cruising around Prince Edward County and the Trent Hills on perfect autumn days. There was a fellow over at the Lazair Forum named Shawn who started one, but I don't think it came to final fruition. Here's some video of what he did do.

Anybody here model ultralights for FS9?

I think i was trying to find some info about the starduster, becuase i just remembered the page because some one said something about a pitts samson, talk about samsons, one of my best mates who was one of if not the best aerobatic pilot in australia, the castrol aviator, sadly was killed on one on the 25th february 2009. It would be great if someone made a samson because i would definatly repaint it.
 
I’d love to see re-do’s of some of the cabin biplanes from the 30’s, i.e: WACO Model E & YKC/YKS; Beechcraft D17 & G17 Staggerwing; Stinson Reliant (not a biplane, I know); etc. These planes were done for fs2002 and early fs2004 (Paul Clawson, SIMTECH and LAGO). Updates to current standards, with both 2D panels and VCs, would a real treat!

Go back out to the main FS2004 forum, scroll down to the bottom of the page, look for a toolbar that has thread display options on it and select show thread from the....

That AH-56 Cheyenne Helicopter was a wicked piece of hardware. It could fly sideways at 65mph, it could turn and roll like an airplane and was very fast by helicopter standards. I don't think there was anything in it's class at the time the prototype first flew.

Unfortunately, the cost over-runs and delays in development nailed the coffin shut for the AH-56. At least that's the story I have heard. I would have loved to have had one for FS9.

The Cheyanne would be a great addition. I would like to see the Martin Mercator, P4M1. It was in competition with the Neptune. The surviving aircraft were used for ELint Missions. I would like to see a AH-1G Cobra.
