RAZBAM LTV A-7 Corsair II released

Could you please explain that further? IDEM? Thanks. NC

same with me, i thought it was a known issue...

the master gen switch only moves in the on(default)/off reset/test direction... nothing seems to move it upward...

same with the Shrike switch only moves from right(default) to left...

no left/right click or center wheel could do anything...

Although I can't get it to work on the Shrike switch, when I Right Click on the Generator switch, it will move the other direction.

Prowler and Zeus, the plane is excellent now! The new HUD makes all the difference in realism. Your efforts certainly paid off. I hope the Corsair will be a business success for you, and that we will see many more excellent aircraft from Razbam.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

There is a solution to this?:

The plane with the throttle to idle (I have a Saitek X52Pro set correctly) moves too quickly and takes speed...

and

thanks in advance

Is RAZBAM'S website working right? can't get a new or told my old password - is there any support? or am I going about this all wrong -- Thanks Chris

It seems that the island is not 5 miles away as you think it is, but between 10 and 20 miles away. It is out of the radar's range.

hemmm ... no ... the islands don't see ... In fact you can see in sequence as ...
But I think it isn't a problem of the A-7 but rather of my global scenery

I'm really enjoying the new collimated HUD. Makes carrier landings a heap easier. Something I'm still missing is sound for (a) flaps and (b) tailhook. Any advice, workarounds?

I just looked into the sound.cfg files for various tail hook equipped planes, and none of them have sounds associated with the tail hook. So then I looked in the SDK, and there's no mention of a [tail_hook] section for the sound.cfg file. I don't recall any planes that have sounds for the tail hook either. I suppose there could be a sound as part of the switch/gauge that operates the hook. You would have to modify the gauge, perhaps, in that case. Not really sure. Flaps sounds should be easy to mess with by editing the sound.cfg file.

Have a look at the Acceleration F/A-18. Notice that there's also a wingfold sound.

Wow. Interesting. Have you tried adding these sections to the A-7's sound.cfg? I may have to try it myself now...

I just added these to the bottom of the A-7's sound.cfg and copied the sound files referred to from the Acceleration Hornet's sound folder. Everything seems to work and you get a nice "trap" sound into the bargain. (Note: the trap sound file does not need to be copied over.) I do think there should be a custom flaps sound...

Something that's puzzled me for awhile is the moving map display. You can switch between Normal (where the airplane heading is up) and N Up (where north is up), but when you do, the compass bearing is the same. Is this a bug or a feature?
