• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

The FlyingIron Spitfire in 2024. The only real issue is that the sound doesn't work (an issue that none of the other FI aircraft have), so I swapped-in the excellent soundset from the Aeroplane Heaven Hurricane (of course creating a new .JSON file to recognize the change).

I would love to see a WW2 era time frame version of Aruba's airport. There isn't alot of info available,but perhaps enough to do the scenery. It would mean something to me because my das was stationed on Aruba for two years during the war with the US Army. They guarded the refinery on the island. NC

Beautiful shots, Thomas, and I agree about flying without a pilot, IF the purpose of the flight is screenshots. However, just to enjoy the aircraft itself, I don't miss him/her that much, as I'm spending more time in the PIC seat myself, and until our chosen avatar can be shown in the pilot seat, or, we can use a photo of ourself, like we used to be able to do in, I think it was FSX...
