Screenshots (FS2024)

To celebrate the USA's 250th birthday, and thanks to World Update 22, I'll be flying over all of the updated national parks starting with the ones I've been to IRL (I live in Utah, so that's a lot). Don't worry, I won't post all my screenshots here, but my first flight was out of Jackson Hole to check out the Grand Tetons, and I was very impressed by the improvement.

My next flight was out of Crescent City to check out the California Redwoods, and I got the VERY realistic aerial view you'd get if you flew over at 7:00 am :

I'll have to go back later in the day. Now, I'm off to visit Arches, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, Bryce Canyon, and Zion in my home state.
Anyway, happy birthday, USA. :unitedstates:

A very nice update

Sometimes I have to remember this is a flight simulator.

It certainly is getting that way now. My shot below isn't as scenic or well-composed as yours, but it gives an impression of what the US National Parks update has provided. I flew a little way south of Marble Canyon airport, and already I am blown away. I'll be getting //42's Camp Out add-on, and doing some more exploring in the CowanSim 500.

Just completed two days of Cross country flying in the Piper Warrior, recreating a road trip from last year. Here's the airports visited along the way.

1. St. Catharines, Ontario (CYSN)
2. Brampton, Ontario (CNC3)
3. Collingwood, Ontario (CNY3)
4. Sault Ste Marie, Ontario (CYAM)
5. Wawa, Ontario (CYXZ)
6. Thunder Bay, Ontario (CYQT)
7. Dryden, Ontario (CYHD)
8. Kenora, Ontario (CYQK)
9. St. Andrews, Manitoba (CYAV)
10. Brandon, Manitoba (CYBR)
11. Carlyle, Saskatchewan (CJQ3)

It's a long drive on the Trans-Canada Highway, and flying it did shorten the trip a bit. But, I was glad of the auto-pilot in the Just Flight Warrior.

Finally, a quick overflight of our small village... Yes, this is home. A long way and a lifetime ago from the UK.
