Waiting for the passengers to arrive to start the boarding procedure. What an experience it must have been back in the 1950's to board a Connie with all the sights and smells of an airplane of this era, avgas and burnt oil. Having a window seat and seeing all the startup smoke and on take off the exhaust flames produced by the PRT's. Not to mention the sounds, especially at take off power! Wow!

Quite a few years ago I spent the winter in a rusty old campervan in the English Lake District whilst I was saving money for a long cycling trip I wanted to do . Often I would park up in a layby next to this nice little 'Water'. I often thought that this field would make a nice little airstrip -although it would be quite a challenging strip to fly from. But the property is owned by the National Trust and I seriously doubt the planning authorities would allow it. I have lusted after a Sequoia F.8L Falco ever since I first saw one at Oshkosh many years ago. Well FS2024 has made those dreams a 'virtual reality'.........

I have flown gliders off and on for over 50 years now -I started when I was 14. In 1998 and 1999 I lived out in Invermere in the Columbia Valley of B.C. Canada flying my one of two highly modified Schreder HP18's - a 'Super HP18' as it was called, built by a German immigrant, Udo. My friend Trevor started up the Invermere Soaring Centre which gained some fame in gliding circles........ Well Trevor built an office/classroom/clubhouse (and a few hangars) with a nice large deck for BBQ's and had a nice little operation going for over 20 years until he passed it on to some younger guys last year. That building has found its way into MSFS and now resides on my 'dream strip' with a nice electric self launch sailplane -the AS33ME...... and a few other toys!

You have to use the master arm switch on the left side of the upper panel. The old method can only be used for the tanks.

You have two options of loads as well being weapons or sim mode being electronic training equipment.

From the Discord channel
F-16C Viper with multiplayer-visible weapons in MSFS2024. This is now controlled by the Master Arm switch, with an "Off" position with no weapons, a "Simulate" position with ACMI pod on the left wing tip, and "Armed" position with typical air-to-air loadout on the C model. The D Model will have a SEAD load-out, as will the F-16I. Best I can do with the current limitations in the new sim. No weights with the weapons loadouts, but that will return later once I can code around the issues.

This morning's flight from my home airport KBHM (Fly2High) to KRIC (AXONOS) in the Microsoft-aircraft-Saab-s340b, Delta Connection repaint by "Mike V" at Flightsim.to

There is no real place to park unless you are going to use a jetway, I called up GSX to open the airstairs to deplane the passengers (some trouble with that function) and to grab the luggage
I'll have to find a GSX profile for proper positioning of the "cargo aircraft" in the above screenshot.


Uh, looks like there is a hole in the baggage compartment :mad:
Maybe they can fix that!
