WIP Beale AFB is generally working. Rendering is different on some textures, especially the PBR glass on the tower that will need rework.

What did you do to make the D18 work in v5? I have a lot of issues with all models from v4.5....

Thank you, Gunnar! Frankly I didn't do anything special. I saved my Airplanes, Effects, Gauges and Sound folders from P3Dv4, and simply pasted the contents into P3Dv5, without overwriting anything, and all of my Alabeo and Carenado aircraft (quite a few) have been working without issue.

Thanks John - most of my v4.5 models are working fine now. I simply forgot to copy and past the Effects, Gauges and Sound contents.
 
Dimus, did you solve this problem of detail1.bmp ?
According this post it works https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6323&t=137112#p214078 but mine looks like this second picture, blurries, not this grass.
I have DETAIL_TEXTURE=1 from the beginning.

Actually I did and I posted it also in the tips thread. The issue for me was indeed the DETAIL_TEXTURE=1. However the default texture is very subtle and can hardly be seen. I changed it with one of the REX ones I had from v4.5 and it looks fine:

The other issue I have as you may see from the above picture is that the dark PBR glass I had made for the tower and was looking great in 4.5 is not working in v5.0, it gets transparent when it has another glass behind it. I still do not know how to solve this. I'll keep trying. The rendering of the tarmac textures also is more bright, especially with enhanced atmospherics on and some of the dirt details are lost.
