My first shot after a loooooooong time. Not material like Noddy, JanKees or Bomber, but after all this time, I'm happy just to be flying again!

Maybe, but
a. I'm colorblind, so I have no clue whether it is the right green or not. I don't even know which of the two top colors is green..
b. I studied lots of sources on the proper colour for Finnish aircraft, and no two sources agreed. I tried quite a few, see my earlier screens, and in the end lifted the colors off the clearest photo I could find of this particular aircraft. It looks right to me (I don't know what they are called, but I do see colors). Note that it was later repainted in slightly different colors too, with smaller roundels.

So if you are not happy with my colors, please give me FS or rgb codes, vague pictures are useless...

Colorblind painter! Quite a challenging job. Sorry, I didn't know. My purpose was just to help correct not mock you. Many people don't know anything of Finnish Air Force not to speak their colors.

Here you can find the color codes:

https://pienoismallit.net/keskustelut/3318_suomen-ilmavoimien-varit/ Just click the link under KimmoR

I think that the colors of Mig-140 (Mig 21 bis) are Olive Green and Greenish black (though there is only Mig-21 on the column - could be Mig-21 F-13 or Mig-21 bis)

Thank you, but I tried those colors, but they did not really work for me.
I found another site with more detail, where thay explained that the MiG came in several batches, some painted, some not, and the (Russian) colors varied with the different batches. They were later also overpainted i Finnish paint, at the time the resized the roundels. I tried all different combinations, including the colors I lifted off some drawn profiles I found, and not looked like the things I saw on the photos I had, so in the end I took the clearest pic I had of a Finnish MiG, and used that. It's always difficult, especially when the true colors are not that well defined. Just think of the endless discussions on the colors of the 361st FG P-51's, the Bottisham four. Blue? Green?
If you really want, I can always do one in the colors you suggest, as well as one with small roundels and Finnish paint?

Meanwhile another Czechoslovak with noseart nearly done:

Hey man, just something I started working on over the last few weeks. Long ways to go as I am literally learning one thing at a time; from rigging and animation to adding effects. At least it flies but has Asobo Hornet pilot/Asobo Burner/Asobo effects. HUD is still the F/A-18 HUD.

So a work in progress for sure.

I love the Mirage and would love to have a fully functional one.
