• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Nice little update from Asobo. Better wake effect, some spray, updated prop discs, and a new livery.

A brilliant picture, deffinately belonging to what, in the mean time, has become 'the dvj school of shooting MFSF screenies' (if i may say so..)

It's therefore with some regret that i have to add that i think that the 'updated propdiscs' are the sole item in this sereen and inspiring scene that strongly diminish the illusion that this is actually a real photo. ( and maybe the white foam crawling up the rocky coast)

Beautiful shot, dvj ! :encouragement:

P.S. Hawaï ??...

Thanks for showcasing my hometown RichardLouis. Live in Vilvoorde now, but Antwerp will always be my home.

Thanks Priller, I'm glad you like it.
The scene is well done as a whole. The port is perhaps less successful.
I would have liked to take views of the Brabo Fountain near Cathedral Notre Dame , but it is too small, the rendering is not beautiful.

I understand your attachment to Antwerp, it's a very beautiful city with a rich past and a magnificent architectural heritage (the station is a real gem!).
I guess like many of us, you built scale model airplanes.
When I was young I often went to Antwerp to buy some from Jack Peeters, at the Brederodestraat.
Maybe you knew him, his store was a real Ali Baba's cave!

Of course I remember Jack. He was a pillar of the Antwerp chapter of IPMS of which I was a member. His advice was invaluable, he was kind to the youngsters discovering the hobby abd the diorama's in his shop were beautiful!

Cheers,

Priller
