Screenshots!

The best I can say is hopefully very soon. Just tonight Andrey sent me an amazing update that improves lighting on scenery and terrain at dawn and dusk dramatically. These shots may not look very different from some I've posted before, but believe me, in person, the difference is incredible. And hopefully very soon, you won't have to take my word for it. Still some ongoing tuning and honing, but it will be worth the wait.

Testing goes on with each new change. But I will say Andrey has outdone himself once more on his latest. Of particular note in these shots is the terrain lighting, which is now calculated completely differently, and more accurately.

Looks like it's time to dust off the WOTR scenery . Looks awesome now with the new shaders ! Excited !

No need to die for it. You can download it instead, which is easier and more enjoyable. There are several packages with different variants of the Mk.V and Mk.II.

Can anyone point me to an older thread that provided instructions on using WOTR scenery in a CFS3 install? Thanks!

The links still point to the old .com site!

But I have downloaded the late package. Maybe everything is in there?

Think I've got a bit of reading to do.

Just one question: after having installed the Update to v2 of the sim, do I need to install ankors shaders as well? Sorry for the noob questions, I haven't played this game in years!

Genuinely so realistic, the lighting, shadows and the grass textures on the hills..stunning!

The slight inside reflection of the canopy of the last pic, just beautiful...somewhere over St Margarets, east of Dover?

Cheers

Honestly all I want to do in the sim right now is take flights around dawn and dusk and just look around. At least as much effort if not more has been put into getting the lighting right after the sun goes down, with yours and James' projects in mind. Twilight conditions are improved, and moonlight reflections are brought in much better. You won't have sun effects bleeding through from below the horizon or residual direct sunlight and shadows after the sun is below the horizon anymore.
