Here is my poor effort

August 1940 Jg26 mission of the day is to fly out of Caffiers and meet up with and escort bombers to their initial point at which point you are free to break off and strafe any targets of opportunity.
Remember the days when your orders directed that you must stay close to the bombers, this order was finally rescinded when Galland would be given command of jg26 and break the shackles that held the 109's close to the bombers.

Just love anything doing with the Battle of Britain ! Nice shots ! Is that from the ETO BoB or Patt's BoB ? Wish i had the shaders effects. Can't wait to get my new pc to do just that !

My shots is ETO but i have PAT BOB as well with master hobbit mission too
With your new rig, there's nothing could stop you for playing CFS3 at max set ! my laptop is too old to handle Ankor shader..playing around 15-20 fps, so bad for fighters role...

Hey BorekS, great idea about SWOL based screenshots. The sim that started it all for me ! Remember how excited i was when CFS1 came out and Chuck Yeager....those were the golden years. Not much out there compared to back then. Still got some good ones but love what is being done to great ones like CFS3. Took a mediocre sim like CFS3 and through the years made it fantastic. Hope for many more years of improvements. Regards,Scott

wiekniera, had a good gaming rig but now stuck with a laptop. Selling another vehicle,(can't drive anymore), so i'll be able to get a new one soon. Can't wait. Miss WOFF,RoF and DCS. Now we got WOTR and the new shaders for CFS3. I'll be in hog heaven !

I didn't even saw that focke wulf's coming, he just came from below my liberator and blow that guy's plane !! and i feel so lucky !!

Referring also to you small effects thread. I had a look at the BC bomber scarecrows and came up with this for the B17. No doubt you could improve it. I can PM or email the xdp effects or whole aircraft. BTW how do I get an ai type aircraft into the QC list? I made a mission for these as didn't see my B17 sc one in the QC list?

Anyway the 8 B17s were repeatedly attacked by Fw190's and Bf110's!

Those shots of mine are just from my all in one install with Diawilletti's "New Package for Stock CFS3" ( http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php/112068-NEW-Package-For-Stock-CFS3 ) over the top and the planes are just some of the originals from the JF Bob CD's from way back.

Sonderkommando Elbe just making his first debut, first he shot down 1 B-17 to my 11 o'clock after that he climbs up and dive fast heading towards my marauder then just slammed his plane right hitting my right wing and the guy to my right side also got his left wing torn off while he's trying to keep his plane stable !
thought my top turret would kill him before he's too close but i guess i was wrong!

Well I thought I would tart up the scarecrow effects further to fit the above! I sort of think the last one may have effected the lead aircraft!

You might want to use jaycee ammo store explosion effect to compare with scarecrow effect or if jaycee still around you might want to talk to him ..i think that would fit your scarcrow with a bit rework, that explosion is so huge like a neutron blast ! those B-17 should disappeared from the explosion and nothing left, just might be only small fireball pieces! but how to do that?
i want to see that explosion from different angle like in pilot or gunner view in my mission but from hundred planes we just don't know which become the first victim, it will look more scary if we can saw the effect in the right moment and view james !
you might want to re-adjust that fireball alpha to look more solid! try to set alpha=30 in your effect line which needed in causing that huge fireball effect and see how's the explosion look.

1. The better effects come from using the grand slam bomb effects. I sent you this xml. I assume a full load of bombs plus all the fuel might have such an effect.

2. Hard to tell as the B17s were being attacked by a swarm of Fw190's ans Me110's from multiple spawns I'd added for this test. perhaps I should do a video next time.

EDIT - Nevermind Gents - Found I had images turned off in settings, wow this thread just got soooo much better





Ok something weird is happening for me, when I try to view these images I cannot see any of them

Yet when I look at this post I can

See how the ones I can see have the second box with the image links plus the inline BB image links

Anybody have any idea why this is happening?

Forgot to mention Im using Firefox 63.0.3 64bit
