• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Taken from the read me -
This BF110G-2 carried two Mg151/20 in the upper nose in place of the 4 Mg17.
This Modification, although fairly widely used in an effort to raise the 110´s
fire power, had no specific designation as it was not supported by the RLM who
supported the variant with Mk108 (see the BF 110 G-2/R3 description) . Preferred
by the pilots even over the R3 variant for the higher rate of fire and the lower
risk of getting hit by debris. A serious threat for the allied heavy bombers

Standard result when attacking from behind........ Above and head on is the better option

Yes and there is still one flying in Swiss, I saw it a couple of years ago at La Ferté Alais air show in France. Thanks for that screen shot! I think this skin os one of Nigel's one.

I like all of the work that has been done. Thanks to people like you and many others we reap the rewards of all the work and effort. Thanks Guys !

The P-47 is a great, hard work in the game against most of the axis planes but still enjoyable.

Is that an actual war era skin?

Mick

PS Never-mind a quick google search found it, a 509th FS, 405th FG aircraft, that FG had some wild nose art and the P-47 sure has a lot of surface area on the sides of the cowling for the art.
