SOH Team Project - Grumman Tracker, Trader, Tracer

Wow Milton, this newest project is coming along niceley ! Mike :applause:

Thanks Mike. Putting the finishing touches on the exterior model so I can start mapping for textures, hopefully by Friday.

I have added bunches of little stuff but still have antennas, some door hinges, and see-thru blocks to add.

In FSX have now done some carrier circuits and bumps, Lurches and Jerks? Not a supersonic thunder monster, but going to be a lot of fun to fly!

Milton,

I'm quietly watching from the sidelines and along with the rest it's amazing seeing a master craftsman at work. :applause:

Thanks for another classic taking shape. :jump:

:icon29:

Pete.

Dont forget the "nipple" on the spinner :a1310: I always remember seeing it when i sat in the cockpit as a kid. You do amazing work Milton! Love the Pitots you put on there also!!! I wish i had your skill in modeling!!:applause:

Jeremy

Well, the exterior model is close to complete and I can move on to mapping for textures.

I will also load up reference pictures for Matt "Smoothie" and anyone else who wishes to see the details for artistic renderings.

LOL Thank guys. :)

Matt, I hope to have the mapping done for the major exterior parts this weekend.

Thank you so much for doing this. :applause:

no need to thank me Milton, i do it for you guys, to bring enjoyment to you guys... i do my best, as do we all, it's teamwork at the end of the day, all for one... :salute:

Working your magic once again Milton, looking great ! Mike :salute:

Thanks Mike, and everyone.

Today marks 31 days since I started modeling. Now retired, I am able to invest 8-14 hours a day on this so progress has been fast. Still a lot to do on the models yet and hoping someone will volunteer to do the VC. I do have the basic interior model in place.

Fliger has started the Flight Model; Nigel is on the sounds; I hope to have the aircraft mapped for textures this weekend so Smoothie can get started.
Waiting to hear from PRB on the panel and gauges.

EDIT: PRB will not be able to do the panel and gauges now due to real world obligations.

I think we have lots of beta testers waiting for something to test, but that will be a while yet.

Simply STUNNNNING !!!

31 days...

Milton has set a cracking pace from the outset of this most worthy project.

Retirement? Sounds more like self motivaton in a big way. A man with a purpose.

He's keeping us out of breath keeping up! :icon_lol:

Bravo Milton!

(icon:the world's supply of ouzo...or I suspect the global stocks of Frappaccino!:icon)

Mapping in progress and going very fast so far.

looking forwards to this now the mapping is going on, nearly my turn to continue the pace, i've even set myself a deadline to have all the panel lines on and airframe detailled by, and my goodness are we talking quickly! :icon_lol:
