NRM

Piglet's Storch can be found here in the SOH library....along with a ton of other wonderful planes he has done...CFS2, FS9 and FSX.

This thing's a kick. With a slight headwind I'm able to almost fly backwards. Landings are about the same. Well, till I get close to the ground and lose lift and tip stall. It's fun trying though. Cool little plane. Time for a repaint search

First three schemes have just been uploaded.
OleBoy if you do a search under Stalin here on the SOH you will find a few from years back.

A few? I hate to see your definition of a lot. There's a bunch of them there:woot:

Looking forward to your work also. Are there any registered in the US?

Thanks Steve

And Piglet, if you're here. Dang fine job on the Storch. The VSTOL is excellent.

I gotta get me a new joystick:faint:

Cheers for your wonderful repaints Steve, looking forward to the rest...

I have forgotten how fun this plane is to fly - Piglet was a master from the beginning of his FS designs.

Hey Guys, don't forget to get the sweet 2d & vc panel mods at www.flightsim.com - just do a search for "Storch" and you will find them.

Cheers! Mike :ernae:

Thought the early VNAF was going to be my favorite, but now I'm looking forward to the Royal Lao AF repaint.

Is it, or, I mean, how hard would it be to do a drab camouflage pattern (US Army)? Completely non-fiction I'm sure.

I can prob paint up a south east asia cammo pattern. After all I got a bit of practice on vlads provider and Tim's H295 with yankee cammo's.

That'd be nice also.

The more I read about them, the more I'm intrigued. There were so many different countries that used this airframe. After flying it, I understand why. I'm hooked:ernae:

Captured Storch's where favoured by senior allied officers as personal mounts, and pre war the type was licence built in the Soviet Union. Immediate post war the type was built in a number of previously occupied countries.

good to see another storch-er... i'm just editing my paintkit and getting ready for a load of gen-av style schemes, keep up the good work :ernae:
