Storch paints

The Polish, French and Laos schemes have just been uploaded. Next three to be uploaded will be, Polish Airforce, Norwegien and Finnish.

I have just uploaded a set of updated textures for the first three uploads.
a few tweaks to the rivets and things.

Them French didn't half spread them about, here's another couple of donated aircraft.

Have you considered this one Steve?

photo-real?

Lebanese and Cambodian?!? This little plane sure got around! (Though I suspect most of the French hand-me-downs were Morane-Saulnier MS.500-series Criquets.)

It's cool that SteveB's repaints are generating interest in this earlier release.

yeah, the Fi156/MS.500 is a great little flyer, it can go practically anywhere, clearing in the forest.... no problem, on a short beach.... no problem. Great looking schemes. this thread has made me dig up my old paintkit i made for it and set back to work :ernae:
**EDIT screenshot coming of my basic paintkit....

as promised images of my storch paintkit... many things being added as i go along....

while i'm here.... anyone have a fix for that sunk tailwheel?

I changed the contact point of the tail wheel. Let me try to explain.

Go to the contact point section in the aircraft config and change the bold line

[contact_points]
static_pitch = 15
static_cg_height = 6.2
tailwheel_lock = 0
gear_system_type = 0
max_number_of_points = 6

point.0 = 1, -19.25, 0, -1.9, 1500, 0, 0.4, 45, 0.25, 2.5, 0.88, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0

"Yes, some Luftwaffe repaints would be very nice. Enjoying your Swiss skin at the moment Steve! Mike :ernae:"

Well I have been toying with an North Africa cammo.

I find that after enough vodka everything goes patchy and blured easily enough.:friday::faint:

Both of my grandfathers would turn in their grave if they knew I was suggesting this, seeing as they fought (one killed) on the Republican side of the Spanish Civil war ...

But I can't help but think that some form "what if" early fifties Ejercito del Aire paint would be nice ... I remember some amazing vineyards and olive groves in Andalucia that I wouldn't mind revisiting ... hmmm .... fresh bread, Manchego cheese, fresh olives, and a glass (or two) of fine Rioja to wash it down ... :friday:

In my indulgence, I might get caught giving El Caudillo the finger as he overflies in his JU-52 ... in which case I'll definitely need to sneak away in a Storch parked nearby ... :rapture:
