Team Outhouse 2012 RTWR Practice 2 Race Thread

It can be done as Mose03 said. If it were to be done one should plan on extensively documenting the changes that were made and why they were needed. Siting sources where you got the performance benchmarks for the new FM would be necessary.

sources would be the original files. I didnt really modify anything. I simply inserted the PAD aircraft.cfg data for weight, fuel, and engine data into the PSS aircraft.cfg file, replacing the PSS entries ( Geometry, and contact points remained the same ). I also used the entire PAD air file in place of the PSS airfile..
Ive done no reworking of the config files at all other than that. If i had, I'd need till sometime later this year before i'd be finished..

Not a problem really. I've got the WBS P-51B/C ( 437 mph ) that will work for shorter legs, the default aircraft for default legs and the SF8 F-86 for the jet legs, not to mention the jet tubes i own..

Okayyy.. I THINK i see what you folks are doing annnnd, i think i like it.. let me explain..
Since we started practice, we've mostly tried doing >700 mile hops, and tried to fly them in the fastest planes available ( ergo the reason i've been flying jets and tubeliners ), but here in canada, weve been flying shorter hops between 400 and 600 miles. a lot of us have planes that go real fast, but dont go very far. others have planes that go real far, but not very fast.. What i'm thinking is that faster planes on shorter hops, may be faster over all than using moderately fast planes over longer hops. instead of using 2 tigercats or hornets, use three bearcats or fury's.. in the end, the bearcats would take less time over all, and could cover greater distance.
What do you guys think??

I think I see one more opportunity to crash.. ;)

ETE 0:30. This plane has thick black engine smoke that comes out as giant square particles.
