Team Outhouse RTWR 2012 Practice 1

ETE 0:10. Went away from the computer, returned to find my engine stopped and my plane descending. Then I rememberd - this plane doesn't have automatic fuel management. Then, while frantically searching for the fuel selected switch, I almost released the drop tank, which was full of fuel. See, this is why we pracetice! ETE 0:10.
 
Question:

Are we going to be stuck with just a couple of competitive aircraft as with last year? Even the damm fast ones weren't enough to run against the redicuously fast ones.

Rob has already been asked a similar question a couple of days ago Tom. Bottom line is we will have to see what happens closer to race time. There is a lot of time between now and February for the Committee to make a decision on the two hot-shots.

Runway 4 right now would be the preferred one to use

Thanks Dave! :icon_lol: Turned out that airport was deep in a canyon, so I had to pick the runway with the shortest cliff to dive off of to get to the runway.

 
A regular leg to NZOH would get us our first required airport below 40° S and then a wildcard over to Tasmania will get us the second airport below 40° S. It's just a regular leg then to the Oz mainland and off to YMJM whichever way we can.
