Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

My first flight in the continental US was an Eastern 727 from JFK-TPA. I Miss those birds and National.would love to see one glinting in the summer sunshine!C

A new real one - it shows US Navy VC-118A 128425 of VR-1 Squadron based at NAS Patuxent River in 1963. It was one of six R6D-1 delivered from Ontario, CA 1961 und redesignated as VC-118B. Others were 128423, 128427, 128429, 128431, and 128433. 128425 was the only one wearing this red scheme on tail for a short period of time. Was used for stuff transport.

Hi,

Start working on my second DC-6 repaint (all new because i did not have the DC-6 for P3D).
It will be the KLM PH-TGA, as flown in the "London-Christchurch Canterbury Centennial Air Race" in 1958.

Looking for some more detailed logo's which were on the aft fuselage.

What do you think is the best estimate of the colours? Myself thinking about brown/gold for colour?
