The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Back again - nice day yesterday but the rains are now pelting down...

I think your wee Nazi is an impressed FL (Francis Lombardi ) model 3 with the canopy removed ?

Yes indeed! Curiously, you can see a license plate tacked on to the rear in my pic, but not yours, which is actually on the road......:icon29:

Gosh, where is everybody? Other than Mike, it's getting a bit lonely in here.

The mystery is from the USA...

Don't have too many observations here , apart from the fact that it looks American - the lack of windows is intriguing, because it doesn't look like a conventional cargo machine.(or are the windows hidden in the shadow ??)

I would have thought this was classic Moses territory...??

Nothing up on top of the fuselage.....I believe what you're seeing is part of the pitot system. From a MAJOR manufacturer, built as a modification of another model for a race (but looking at it you'd think it couldn't get out of it's own way). American.

:icon29: Ford Exec. it is! As for the Cessna, when I saw it I couldn't believe it either, but I knew it'd be a good candidate for a mystery :).
