The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Had to have a look at this one, being a floater !

No answer - the wing float shape looks CAMS, but can't find a suitable model, Prototype or one-off ?

Interestingly, this company never built any other flying boat after this one (nor did they before)

I would also interpret that cage on the leading edge as a a radiator, but historic confirmation is lacking
 
According to Pascal Brugier ('Registre France 1920-1991') F-ESAC initially was a Caudron C.27 and subsequently a Caudron C.92, which became F-AICY. Neither of these Caudrons was a flying boat. However the Secret Projects website (https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/caudron-designations.9745/) says that the Caudron C.87 was a '1924 experimental single engine pusher floatplane, F-ESAC'. Thus one must assume that the registration F-ESAC was used at least thrice on different aeroplanes!
 
The Caudron C.87 was a tough nut.
No mention at all of that plane at aviafrance. It is listed at airwar.ru, however, I tried a search with Uli's clues like

"Страна: Франция" "Первый полет: 1924" "1 ПД" site:airwar.ru

which should have shown each French aircraft first flown in 1924 with a single engine on that site.
The C.87 resisted to appear in the result, no idea why.

To keep things going here is a biplane that should be much easier.

Sorry your right just double checked. I had it as NU-50 which I find out is a 2 seater so I had it wrong and you were right.
