Hallo everybody, everybody hallo,

I'm fairly sure there are others on here who would subscribe to this request, so among the many talented painters on here, would someone be prepared to consider UK textures for the Mallard ( and the Lodestar ) even if only fictional. Without any disrespect whatsoever, it would be good to see a G- registration for a change.

Gratitude in anticipation.......

David

Papi that would be perfect. Is this already up on here and have I missed it or if not are you going to upload it.

Very, very grateful and thank you for your efforts

Regards

David

Papi, many many thanks.
Downloaded, up and running and I've used it on the turboprop as well.
I'm sure many more will enjoy and appreciate this paint.
Best wishes
David

With the L-18, I enjoy the two fictional Lodestar Executive paint schemes by Andre19, obviously inspired by IRL VIP Jet Boeing 727 M-STAR.

Keeping our finger crossed he will be inspired also by the Mallard and Mallard TP...

Fully layered Photoshop paint kit.

The paintkit is in fully layered PSD format and comprises the three main files used for exterior texture variants. Please note: "eng0tp_t.Paintkit-1.1" should be used for both engines as they are exactly the same.
This is NOT a rivet-counter's paint kit - if you wish to add additional detail, we'd love to see your creations.
As my approach to dark and light surfaces differs, please use the relevantly labelled layer folders in the paint kit designated 'LIGHT' or 'DARK'accordingly. You will find the basic elements included for 'U.S. NAVY' and 'Globe' texture variants in addition to 'Paspaley Pearls' and 'Olympic Air'from the TP Grumman Mallard release packs.

I have included all 'paths' used in the original construction of the release textures - hopefully, you will find them useful.
The basic 'Alpha' layer is a general purpose compromise - feel free to experiment with the values according to your desired results.

Have fun - ENJOY!

Thanks for the paint kit Nigel, and the schemes on the Lodestar pictured above are BEAUTIFUL! Those flowing lines on that tubby little plane really enhance it's shape... a very "flowing" design similar to the schemes found on the Howard 500. Those would look smashing on the G-73T.

Yeah! - Way to go!

I love nose art.

888-8 is also my prefered format, Fredem.
Can't understand the 'transparency' issue - make sure it's not just highlight detail.

not sure. I didn't notice this "bug" on any of the Mallard TP I've used until today. This two litte "holes" may be the result of the reduction file from 2048 to 1024 for FS9. I will check.

There's Nothing Like Fresh Mesh ...SECURITE CIVILE

Hallo Friends

the Mallard is really a fine bird.
So another fictious repaint in the colors of the french SECURITE CIVILE.
If some one is interested just drop me a message.

Papi

I suspect that may actually be a model issue. Hopefully Milton will see this.

Hi everyone,

I am back and happy to be here. :)

I have checked the mapping and textures and can see no issue at all.

The splash guard is flat across its top so it may not be taking paint all that well. But still cannot see how transparency would come into play the way it is setup. The alpha allows for glossiness, not transparency.
