There's Nothing Like Fresh Mesh ...

No Problem Milton. I was able to get really close to what I wanted with texturing.

Another paint done! Kind of a "Plain Jane", but a period paint anyway.

I got too play with a couple of my exterior textures earlier. The Transcat scheme just needs a couple of tweaks.

I should have both the Transcat and this fictional Grumman blue yellow scheme, ready for download sometime tomorrow.

I've been working some on the passenger cabin textures. If anyone wants this either to use or to build on please just let me know!

Thanks Maartin.

Thought that I had better get some outside colours finished, for those people who are following this thread and seeing teaser's, and cannot splash some colour themselves.
I'm back off too hang upside down too work on the interior, shouldn't need too, but it's more fun that way.

Steve

Those are great looking paint schemes guys; thank you for doing them. Great stuff happening everywhere here. :jump:

Couldn't resist trying one of my favourite schemes, totally fictional I just like the colours. early wip shot. I stuck a assistant commandant's flag on it too make it a vip transport.

water trouble

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get this beautiful plane to move in the water. I can replace it with other amphibians and they take off normally. It doesn't matter if I land in the water or taxi in. I've tried in windows 8.1 and now windows 10. The upgrade went smooth without a hitch by the way. Help!

Try adding wind of 5-10 knots. FS9 has very sticky water, likes wind for floats.

Thanks Milton, the wind set it free. And thanks again for all the great models over the years.

Chalk's...

...for me, this is the most iconic livery on the Mallard.:jump:
I'm a bit "rusty", and still tweaking with FSX, had to install it all over again, after 4 years my motherboard AND processor finally gave up, two weeks ago...:(
but anyway, here it is, a very humble attempt to create something good, using Firekitten master textures and Miltons superb model !
cant see the propeller disks effect so Im not sure what Im doing wrong here...it must be me, as usual ;))))
Anyway, hope you like her so far.
yours,
rc
