TOW Pt. I 1940-42 is released!

If you are talking about the cfg file, mine is based on one MajorMagee did some time ago. May need updating?
Hi James, my point is that for Ankors shaders, AFAIK it is recommended that config shadows be disabled. Just suggesting it may be worth trying to see how it looks :wavey:

Good find. I have yet to try that in CFS3 but I get the point of the climb dangers. I think that once on the deck, I would stay there for a while!

Tried to download the .rar file and mediafire would send .Said it was a dangerous file. Run Win 10 antivirus and never had problems ,even downloading .exe files. All others were fine. Am i doing something wrong ? Regards, Scott

Windows Defender has never liked the RSM module program on my system. It sees it as being loaded with a Trojan Virus. No matter how many times I whitelist it, the next time the system touches that file it quarenteens it again.

Interesting; I am not having that issue with my Win10 Pro. I keep the exe on a desktop folder also whitelisted. I have had that issue a while back, but not recently. In any case the upload does not contain an .exe file but a .maketoexe or similar file.

TOW link dead

The link to the actual zip file seems broken.. I've tried it on multiple forae, they all came up nihil..

I've managed to get all downloads. Looks pretty good.

I did get an error on startup and was able to fix it:
I got warning on startup that the xdp file '.\buildings\acc_city_block_6' was either corrupt or otherwise invalid.
The file is there (.\buildings\ACC_city_block_6\ACC_city_block_6.xdp)
but runniing it through my XML syntax checker it pointed out that
<DamageBoxes>
must end with a
</DamageBoxes>

or else corruption will haunt you endlessly.

Thanks for pointing that out. :applause: I will check my copy but good for others to check. BTW what XML syntax checker do you use?

I do in fact have and use ++ extensively, including some plugins,but don't see xml tools wrt to what you are referring to. I'll check it out and also ask my son who uses ++ all the time for his work. Thanks again.

It's very easy..

Start N++, goto Plugins - Plugins Admin
In the search bar under tab Available you type XML
If all is well, the XML Tools are suggested. Select 'em, hit enter/next and so on. And Bob's your uncle!

have fun! It's has been a life saver in many occasion.
You don't want to get into a situation where you have to check or compare (you need compare plugin too!!) large XML files manually.
The mere thought..... silly.

Thanks! I added that to the ones I already have. One of the other most useful things for me is 'Find in files' search feature, which has uncovered many issues for me! BTW my son was just in Uden seeing people in Vokel!
