Mig-29K/KUB Compo from Rob's FlyFreeSTD has been updated (the installer is 0.5 gig now) The plane is full of features, really fabulous and unique.

Whatever the link is it appears the name of the site is misleading, not free at all :-(

The Mig-29K/KUB along with the Su-33 and the carriers aren't free of course for a first time purchase, and are available for sale by the Simmarket online store. The models' quality is high (by my standards) and every update released is free and considerably improved, compared with the preceding version. Many developers (not all though) provide features adding updates (I'm not talking about bug fixing updates) without requesting a repurchase, and considering their effort and work it is my opinion that they provide them essentially for free.

Please also consider that Rob has kindly released two great entirely freeware vintage Polish planes the Bartel and the RWD-13/13S. You can find them easily and enjoy their quality !!
 
Justflight Mosquito Service Pack 1

I just received a notice from Justflight for a Service Pack on their DeHavilland Mosquito.

What's new in this release?
SP1 • Sound set replaced.
• Propeller effect improved.
• Engine Idle RPM corrected.
• Navigation lights effects adjusted.
• Paint kits layers issues addressed.

I can assume that it is a full install, which means that I would have to uninstall my current version before installing the Service Pack.

Can anyone confirm??

Ant's Airplanes Sierra v2.1 Patch

NEWS > SIERRA LSA V2.10 PATCH (Feb 2017)
There is a new patch available for the Sierra. This patch will
fix a problem the cold and dark setting causing problems with engine starting.
It also adds the option to always load the Sierra in a cold and dark state when
the aircraft is loaded on the ground. Also fixes a texture issue with the dirt
effect plus it fixes some typo errors.

The patch works for the payware
and demo versions of the Sierra V2.00 only (the patch requires version 2.00 be
installed first).

The demo model has now been updated to the latest
version. The full payware version will be updated shortly but for now you need
to download the patch to be completely up to date.
