Carrier Tracks Volumes 1 and 2 are now available as a single download here (look under my user name, dswo) and at FlightSim.com (carriertracks1and2.zip). Volume 1 has a couple of fixes; most notably, minimum traffic density is only 5%.

Just updated the ( [Click Here] --> ) Aircraft AI Carrier Configurations v1.5 by James F. Chams to include Lotus' L-39 (for use with Naval Repaints) and CaptainSim's C-130's

And if anyone else keeps asking "why?" - Here's why - [Click] --> c-130 carrier landing

Ive a problem with my I.R.I.S. F16D .The problems began at startup ,when i set the mainswitch on Battery have failed FLCSPMG light ,dose notilluminate .The second is at FLCS PWR test there are 3 posse at start is on Normal .When i'm switch to test all leds (A,B,C,D) are illuminate n stay like at switch .But I'm switch to Main than happens like normal test procedure .The Third is after switching from Battery to Main n than JetFuel Starter 1 is the next step but i can set only on Starter2 isn't possible to switch on Starter1 .OK .I switch on Starter2 sounds like good the RPM is Climbing to 20 %.
than i pull the throttle a bit forward .Dose not happening .Dose not climb the RPM to 60 % ,engine isn't started.I need to hit onCtrl+Shift+F4 than is on right way engine is start .Why cant i satart the engines without keyboard ?Anybody can help me what i need to change in .cfg to have all function in rightway ?

I am also having a problem. The AICarriers entry has been deleted off the menu in FSX. when I hit Shift + J, nothing happens. Can anyone tell me whats going on?

Mr. Rezabrya,
Check your EXE.xml file to make sure that you have an entry for AICarriers. Some add-on's seem to delete this entry, because of incompatible formating of the code. You may have to re-enter the code (manually) to see the AICarriers Option in FSX's Addon Menu again. :wiggle:

For XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX

For Vista:
C:\Users\(your user id)\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX

Use notepad to edit it.

Gents,

I've also made a few additions of my own for these Carriers/Naval Addons to appear in the AI Carriers Menu along with all the others. They weren't included as part of the setup, until I made these files. Simply add these files to your "...\AICarriers\conf.d" Folder, Launch FSX, and Load them from the AI Carriers (AI Ships) Menu.

well i added the sample exe.xml entry to my real exe.xml but no joy. I edited the part where it shows where the aicarriers installed too. I don't know what's going on.

You need to add this ,i think it ,to your exe.XML. :

Could somebody with a working AICarriers please copy and paste the entry that is in there exe.xml to me so I can add that in. No matter what I try it won't work.

I looked at your EXE.xml file, it is corrupted.

Both you and Mr. Rezabrya, please DO THIS ...

1. RENAME your CURRENT EXE.xml file to EXE.OLD_CORRUPT_XML
2. START FSX and after LOADED, Shut it down. (To clean and recreate NEW EXE.xml file).
3. You will see a "NEW" EXE.XML file, open it with notepad.
4. ADD the following statements to the END of the "NEW" FILE before the statement < /SimBase.Document>.

DON'T USE THESE EXACT ONES, USE THE ONES FROM YOUR EXE.xml FILE
< Launch.Addon>
< Name>AICarriers</NAME>
< Disabled>False</DISABLED>
< Path>AIcarriers\aicarriers.exe</PATH>
< CommandLine>-nogui</COMMANDLINE>
< /Launch.Addon></SIMBASE.DOCUMENT>

PS: Make sure the PATH statement is CORRECT to your installation of AICarriers
e.g. mine is C:\Program Files (x86)\AICarriers\aicarriers.exe ; your's might be C:\Program Files\AICarriers\aicarriers.exe

</COMMANDLINE>
</LAUNCH.ADDON>
5. Relaunch FSX and see if it loads - It might ask you to trust the module and answer "YES" to it.
6. Shut FSX and restart System.
7. Launch FSX a final time to make sure it all works; Report back IF NOT.
