Vertigo Studios F9F 1.2 Update

The Cougar is one of my favorite 50's Jet fighters. I've been waiting ages for a good one in FS.

Got the download with no problems and uninstalled version 1.1 booted, installed 1.2 and all is well, execpt navigation lights still the size of pie plates. Had the same problem with v.1.0 ver.1.1 and now 1.2. Could there be a setting for the lights in the cfg that needs changing or is it perhaps an effects file or is it just hard coded. No other a/c that I use has this problem, so I am assuming it is just this model. Thanks for any helpl Don

. . . . . . .except navigation lights still the size of pie plates. Had the same problem with v.1.0 ver.1.1 and now 1.2. Actually what I noticed while watching a landing recently was that from a distance the light in the R/H leading edge appears that large and disconnected from the airplane and then as the aircraft get's closer, the light gets smaller and smaller and closer and closer to where it actually resides, until finally it seems to be very close but still not exactly where it should be. To be honest, that kinda stuff means very little at this point. All things considered, I'm happy to have a working tail hook. . .the rest is of little or no consequence at this point. . .at least to me, lol.

Great thing, this update! I'm not sure if i will download it. I have decided not to install the previous update neither. The reason for this is; will my repaints for the first release still work after the updates, without editing. If not, i'll leave my version as it is.
Even the original release Panther is a joy to fly, so i'm not eager in editing about 20 repaints (not all published) to new standard.

AFAIK, there have been no changes to the mapping Per Se from V1.0.

Deano, add me to the list who'd happily pay for a Cougar, particularly if it included the TF-9J.

Maybe start a Kickstarter for it, so we can put our money where our mouths are? :)

I assume this upgrade is free to owners of model 1.1? I can't seem to get the pcsimstore to recognise me as a current Panther owner and to list the upgrade - I can only buy the whole plane again (1.2). Am I missing something?

Never mind - I figured it out and am downloading now.

Thanks again Dean for your fine work on this one!

Nice colorful scheme there zsoltquack. Looking forward to it being available.
Always looking for an excuse to fly Vertigo's Panther. A wonderful model.

Hi Frank,

Unfortunately, I just do not understand why the cameras are not shown correctly!
I do not know which part of the texture of the camera...
