Vertigo Studios F9F 1.2 Update

I have never been able to get the upgraded file because I've never been contacted by Vertigo in responce to my emails. My concern is that I am not able to figure out what site I bought it from. I bought it the day it was released but the site they sell from now doesn't recognize me as a buyer.

I can't recall now but from Vertigo Studio shop closed and went across to the PMstore couple years back, i had a little glitch like that in regard to my other VS aircraft , i'm sure Dean or Bruce will sort it for you without any problems .

I think you really should PM Deano (that is Dean's alias here on SOH), he gave me the best help I ever got from any developer/publisher: When FSPilotshop wanted to charge me a $5 administrative fee to download v1.2, Dean offered me and others a "bypass" by registering at the PCSimStore. From them not only did I get the V1.2 upgrade but also the livery expansion pack FOR FREE :salute::salute::salute:
 
This is the version I downloaded from FS Pilot Shop today. VERSION 1.0.05012011

I wonder if someone can verify whether this is version 1.0, 1.1 or 1.2

I'm unsure if it's the latest and greatest version, and hope to be proved wrong.

Looks like you have v1.2. This is what you should see at the start of your Aircraft.cfg file (with date property 20-Mar-2012):

// VERTIGO STUDIOS
// GRUMMAN F9F-5/P PANTHER
// VERSION 1.0.05012011
// FSX
 
Yes you have the latest build.

Ok....so.....I can not find any info on my purchase of the F9F.......Doesn't Vertigo have any info of who buys their products? I was able to track down my RV-9 purchase but non of the previous planes.


This sucks.
 
A couple of issues with the plane (on my computer).

When selecting a different skin a message appears "Simconnect Link Active", thereby rendering the shft 4 configurator inactive. No choosing pilot steps, etc...

Pressing "I" key for smoke does not work. The "I" key must be pressed down and held for smoke to be working.
