I hear Robert Rodrigez is remaking Barbarella, starring Rose McGowan as Barbarella. This was originally a French comic created by Jean-Claude Forest, and serialized in V-magazine. The character's appearance was supposedly based on Bridget Bardot, but aren't 99% of all superheroines kind of based on Bridget Bardot?
