'Yes, I'm In Love With A Romulan'

Forget all this Star Trek malarkey

"I am Susan Ivanova. Commander. Daughter of Andre and Sophie Ivanov. I am the right hand of vengeance and the boot that is going to kick your sorry ass all the way back to Earth, sweetheart. I am death incarnate, and the last living thing that you are ever going to see. God sent me."

gina torres, of xena, hercules, cleopatra 2525, and i think a few appearances on jack of all trades. she's so hot her footprints leave scorched earth.

Don't forget small parts in the Matrix (II and III) and The Shield. Lawrence Fishburne is a Lucky Man (Gina's husband)

Jewel is on Stargate Atlantis now and Morena has guest starred on that show and has been rumored to play the lead alien on the remake of V.

Of course Summer is the New Terminator on TV...

I loved V, but it jumped the shark when we had the hybrid child Elizardbeth. :)

I'm with you, cheezy. IMHO Gina Torres (and I'll add Morena to this as well) is WAY hotter than T'Pol. That's right. I said it. Bring it.

You have to love a 'Hot Babe' thread! Let's face it, most of us would never have a chance with even the babe who finished last in polling. :)

SF,

I've given this subject some thought over the years. I do agree with you in principle; I agree with Dr. House's theory of human mating; there are the inevitable exceptions, but as a rule 9s mate with 9s; 2s with 2s, and most of us are 5s.

Still, you're breaking nerdlaw by associating your nerdy sci-fi star crush with reality. Secondly, while not mentioning any names, there are IMHO a LOT of Hollywood starlets whose publicity machines keep insisting are great beauties, but to my eyes are merely People People with big promo budgets rather than authentic Pretty People. "Beauty" is a very subjective and personal thing. That being said, I've now been house or apartment mates with several authentically beautiful women (The Sacred Scrolls say never to touch women at your job or living in the same apartment building with you; though i admit not everyone keeps the Discipline.) seen what their days are like, and the question I ask most often now is: "Do I really even want to be in that league?" Third, if you think that YOU aren't being judged every day by how YOU look, think again...which is why I don't trouble myself over my harem of Star Crushes.

looking back over my bachelor years, i have dated several women who were well "out of my league".
i have no clue why these women even talked to me, let alone dated me. i'm not smooth or good looking, and i was usually pretty broke. i know it's kinda cliche' but some of them were very...2 dimensional.

I am about 99.9 percent sure I saw Leutenant Yahr in a Soup - n - Salad restaurant one day. I kept looking, thinking, there is no way thats her! no way! and she waved. I was to shy to wave back. She had just left TNG. Same hair style, same physique.. But in reality, they overwhelm you. For some reason, you dont see what they are 'really' like in person compared with TV..

I met William Riker (Number One or Johnahan Frakes) one year at a Producers Expo in Pasadena.. Dang.. That guy was freakin 6.5 feet tall or taller! A giant of a man. And he marched when he walked, and it was slighly sideways. The next time you see an episode with him, note the way he walks. He walks sideways a bit, and huge strides.. That is the real way the guy walks..

Pretty cool..

I've only met two celebrities (of the acting type) one was Robert Romanus, the guy who played Damone (the ticket scalper) in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. He was nice a posed for picture with the cast of the high school play I was in and he came to see.

The second was a few years later when I worked in the parts department of the local Ford/Jeep dealer. We got a call from one of our customers who ran a garage in Stowe VT (Ski Town) that he had a customer who was going to swing by and pick up the parts needed to fix his jeep.

An hour later, this tall guy with wild hair walks in and says, "Fred from Stowe Auto sent me down to get some parts."

The guy was Bill Murray. We all just kinda stood there in shock for a minute but then he cracked a couple of jokes and he turned out to be a really nice guy.

Oh man! Bill is cool.. Did you see him on the Barrette Jackson auction? He bid and won a Harley bike that was built by those guys on TV that have that Harley shop. It was based on the theme Caddyshack. The guys would go to touch it, talking to him, and he would scream 'DONT TOUCH THAT! ITS MINE! DONT TOUCH!' lol... that big guy with the mustache (the dad) was cracking up like a kid.. Hilarious..

Just think of how some of these "beautiful" women look without make up. Brrrrr, it gives me the willies. :faint:
