There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

I agree on CoD vs CFS3. Never could enjoy Cliffs like I wanted to. I think it's the AI. I find CFS3's more believable. But I really appreciate the looks and detail in Cliffs. Through my various projects, I'm trying to bring all the things I like about different sims under one roof in the only sim mod-able enough to achieve it.I still have my install disks for CFS3. If and when this is released, I'm going to reinstall it, just to be able to have this.
Graphically, Cliffs of Dover (Il-2 series) is vastly superior to CFS3, but this seems to be a game changer! And to me, the fun factor of CFS3 is vastly superior to that of CoD.

Actively working on making that possible! Last night I was making some revisions to the haze color used in some of the different weather files. Even a very slight change in the tint of the haze makes a huge difference in how real the scene feels. In fact, haze is probably the single most influential individual factor for overall appearance, since it is factored onto just about every surface you see to varying degrees.Wish we could have ours looking like this !
