P-38

Hello all!

Well, we are now looking for some experts on the P-38J/L. Anyone who considers themselves so should please contact us as soon as they can so that we can get all our eggs into one basket!

Thanks much!

The P-38 has always been a passion of mine.

I by no means consider myself an expert but I do know more than is probably healthy LOL

What is it you want to know?

Yes, David is both an expert on the P-38 and a good sound person! However he has traditionally rolled his own, creating a most excellent series of about every model ever built, including the prototype.

Cheers: T.

Ok, so, just so everyone is clear... the WIPs on our site are of the J Lightning and not the L... (differences include but are not limited to: dive brakes, gun camera in pylon, landing light in wing leading edge, fuel booster pump bulges...)

The L will be done after the paint job for the J which, I must say... is looking NICE!!!!!... we'll be showing some WIPs of that before the end of this week... wooooot!

did someone say "P-38" :d

my web site and associated email went down with the server. I've got access now, but haven't had time to reset the email and website.

I have just restored my contact page, which has my P-38 email:

http://kazoku.org/xp-38n/dcc/

I'd be happy to help in any way I can :icon_lol:

I might be wrong..... but I remember having a magazine on the P-38 showing it in the production line and there was a close up on the cockpit area and it showed a rool bar just behind the seat thay ran down just below the rear glass where the radios were towartds the rear. It said it was for a roll over. Am sure of it, and I believe it was a J model.

I can not find it at the moment, as soon as I can I will post a picture of it.
