P-38

Your correct. There is a roll bar there. I have seen it a few times. From what it looks like, it is modeled in. Its just sort of hard to see.

Ok, so for all you P-38 lovers out there, David is on board and is going to go over the model and, once he pronounces it correct, we'll be moving to the next stage... (the pit!). Moving along....

KC

KC, you made a good move there getting David on board. He has a wealth of knowledge on the forked tail devil. This will give everyone in the sim world a feeling of confidence that your P-38 is the best it could every be in all aspects. Looking forward to the progress.

Yes David's P-38's have been a steady staple of the Round the World race group over the years.

I must say this model is visually stunning. I hope the flight modeling is as impressive as the model. I have both Just Flight's, and Skyunlimited's P-38 packages. This looks like it could be the P-38 to top all others though.

believe me you dont need anyone else
LOL

ROFL! Yeah glad David responded. Since FS2002... P-38 and DCC are synonymous. Can't be seperated.

Look in the dictionary for P-38 and you will see DCC!

BTW if DCC is associated with the P-38.... it is guaranteed to see gold. :wavey:

I think you have the picture now Colin. :icon_lol:

Well, I'm now pleased to announce that David Copely will be doing the soundset for the P-38! Welcome to the team!:ernae:

KC

David is a multi talented person, but as a professional sound guy he is tops!

With inflation, $200 will be cheaper than a brew at the local pub....

Ok... so... here we go... I now have two pics of the paint job for the P-38J. I am going to post BUT... before I do, I wish to point out that there is no bump mapping, no specular, the model isn't in FSX and we're NOT finished yet...

so... without further ado... for viewing these, you will have to go to our site as I can't seem to upload them...

Here ya go...

And speaking of DCC's P-38's can anyone give me the link to his latest freeware? I lost mine to my old computer. Thanks.
