slowly we're getting there... lines and rivets are in place (mostly, canopy frame still to do) just got to do the Bump maps now...

i will, and i'll be releasing my 'base textures' at about the same time, am loading my sim as i type this to check a new fuselage bump map....

Here is a little historic tid bit to go with her.
RAAF Serial --A77-702
RAF Serial -- WA732
Aircraft Type -- T.7
Aircraft History -- Delivered to 77 Sqn in Japan on HMS Warrior 08/01/51. Serial changed to A77-702, 1952. Served with 38 Sqn Comms Flight 03/60-1963. Withdrawn from use 05/63. Was under restoration at Laverton, Now at RAAF Museum Pt.Cook VIC.
I believe the T.7s never went to South Korea. I believe they were at Iwakuni, Japan. I could be wrong.
I still love all of the paints. Excellent workmanship.

You could well be right John. I know 77 Sqn were based at Iwakuni before going to Korea so they may have left the T7s behind as the pilots would probably not need familiarisation training if they were deemed competent enough for combat in Korea! Thanks for the compliments - much appreciated. I really must go back and do a 'Meteorites' F8 at some stage!

The one at the bottom of the page is very telling!
Interesting stories here of flying Meatboxes in the 50's here. Didn't know that they were so difficult to fly in some configurations.
The PNs for the Mk 8/10 is very big & one needs a good memory for all of it! Makes one wonder how it became a drone....best of the bunch of the others?
Old aircaft can be more difficult to fly than the Sims make out methinks......

I finally downloaded the F.4 as well and it is as the others, a joy to look at and fly in FS.
After I started to look over the paintkit and most of the already released repaints I discovered that large parts of the panel lines and rivets are a bit off compared to the real bird (specially the front fuselage, look at the footstep and handhold on real pictures and you will see that the entire panel line grid is off), so for the 3rd time for the Meteors I started on all new textures, including new bump files to get the details I wanted.
Another Danish Metor, this time F.4 43-465.
