The repaint depicts the Curtiss Hawk H75 A-3 named Fan-Fan-La Tulipe. It was flown by the French ace Sgt.-Chef Antoine Casenobe from 2e escadrille GC 1/4. He finished the Battle of France with 7 confirmed kills. In Febraury 1943 he joined the "Groupe Lafayette" but February he crashed during take off and succumbed to his injuries on 26 February 1943 The repaint shows aircraft how it looked during the Battle of France and has the small roundels one the wing which were introduced spring 1940.
