This package contains alternative textures for the FS2004 Spitfire PR.XI by Chris Lampard and Shessi. The textures show the Spitfire PA892 from 14th Photographic Squadron, 7th Photographic Reconnaissance Group from the US Eighth Air Force USAAF. This unit operated out of RAF Mount Farm. The USAAF operated around 20 to 25 Supermarine Spitfire PR.XI (Photo Reconnaissance) aircraft on loan during WWII. Spitfire PA892 served with the 14th PRS for the duration of 15 months before being returned to the RAF on April 3, 1945.
To use these textures you must have the Spitfire PR IX/XI package by Chris Lampard and Shessi installed. This package can be found in the libary at Sim-Outhouse.org. The main textures (SPXI_1.bmp, SPXI_2.bmp and SPXI_3.bmp) are done in 16-bits format, which should make them usable for the CFS2 version of this model as well.
