This archive contains files to create a model of the Cargo version of the Miles Aerovan for FS9.
The Aerovan was a British short range low cost transport designed and built by Miles Aircraft.
The aircraft was built of plastic bonded plywood construction with some spruce and metal parts (particularly the tail boom). A large fin area was required by the deep sided forward fuselage, and the pod and boom style - as a result it had three fins & rudders.
The Aerovan was capable of lifting a (very small) family car, loaded through a rear door. Designed in 1944, the prototype was built in Liverpool and first flown in January 26, 1945.
