Mosquito FB Mk XVIII "Tsetse" DM-E
This package contains a cleaned-up standalone version of the de Havilland Mosquito FB Mk XVIII "Tsetse" for Combat Flight Simulator 3.
The aircraft has been updated and reorganized to provide a dedicated FB XVIII installation with corrected naming and documentation. During preparation, redundant files were removed, aircraft references were standardized, and the aircraft description was revised to better reflect the operational role of the Mosquito FB XVIII in RAF Coastal Command service.
The FB XVIII was a specialised anti-shipping and anti-submarine strike aircraft armed with the Molins 57 mm cannon and was employed against German shipping and U-boats during the latter part of the war. Its heavy armament earned it the nickname "Tsetse."
This release has also been flight-tested to ensure performance is more representative of a low- to medium-altitude Coastal Command strike aircraft rather than a high-altitude Mosquito variant.
Credits for the original model, textures, and supporting files remain with their respective authors. This package is intended as a cleaned-up standalone update for Combat Flight Simulator 3 users.
