Canberra B.2 freeware pack out now!

Cheers Tom. One more catch I made this evening - small thing, but annoying enough (again). I noticed I had somehow missed out the G-meter needle. To save re-downloading the entire pack, I have put the relevant file in a zip, which you can download here: http://flyingstations.com/canberra-pack-b2.html - scroll down to the red advisory text and you will find the link.

Apologies for all this, and again, the main download pack has duly been amended.

Does it go in the gauges folder?

Thank you!
Sascha

Missing "altimeter_10000.bmp in gauge file.

Hello Steve,

In the event that this error has not been caught and corrected, it appears that "altimeter_10000.bmp" is also missing from the gauge file and the "10000" numeric does not display in the altimeter.

I'm enjoying your Canberra development to the fullest. It's a superb addition for me.

Thanks for the freeware.

Boz.

Ugh, another cock-up. Thanks a lot for that, Boz, very good catch. Updating it now, and will advise as soon as ready.

** OK, sorted now - hopefully that's the last of the lot.**

Hi Steve,

Really nice aircraft, thanks for taking the time to build it.

I have one small problem, the T17 variant is not showing up, I have no model.t17 folder or texture.t17 in the Canberra _B2_early folder.

Thanks

Richard

I'm going to shoot myself. A leftover of some testing I'm afraid, please delete that block, and again, well caught' - I should start adding that to my signature block!! The consequences of a year and a half's work, too many late nights and too many variants for me to project manage at times, lol. The T.17 will be coming out down the line, mind you.

Brilliant stuff, Mike, cheers for those. That's all I ask of anyone who's enjoyed the pack so far -get your cameras out and snap some screens. Once I get the paintkit out things should hot up a bit more in that department given the massive amount of schemes seen throughout the years.

In the meantime, the bug list continues. Sorry about this folks, it seems that in the phase between ending beta and prepping the files for pack upload, a number of things went awry. I appreciated it looks bad, but bear with me and we'll get it ironed out prior to anyone shelling out cash.
This time, the bug I spotted was in the VC, not immediately apparent, but needs sorting. Follow this thread for support:

Cheers all,

Altimeter "10000 feet" reading

Problem:impossible to read "10000 feet" data from the altimeter
View attachment 22432

Solution:copy the file "altimeter_1000.bmp" from "SB_CAN" folder to desktop, rename it "altimeter_10000.bmp" and put it back into "SB_CAN".

Question: is the B(I)12 version going to be built too?
Beautiful plane:applause::applause::applause: definitely the best (in my opinion) around..........waiting for any RhAF repaint:)-Thanks

Hi, I have noticed one more thing: on my system the VC canopy is very opaque and the reflections on it are very strong so that I can see little outside of the office. I have tried to fiddle the glass bmp but have not achieved anything except a lightening of the opaque color. Is there a way to control canopy opacity?

Cheers,
Sascha

Hi Ian, thanks for the kind words and the altimeter gauge workaround - this came up yesterday and I have since duly posted the two missing gauges in a zip which you can download from the main B.2 pack page.

B(I).12 - no fighter canopy versions planned at this stage - all depends on the success of the coming payware packs I'm afraid. I agree though, the B(I) versions are nice.
