Say what!!! Mike passing away? Can't be true...I had a project the he had that I pretty much finished for him and now he won't be able to see how it came out. Rest in peace buddy, you're now in aviation heaven watching over us:engel016:
 
This is such sad news. Mike was the first person on here to send me a PM about a subject. He seemed to go out of his way for people. Really try and help them out. And his passion for aviation will sorely be missed.

Man.. Mike has emailed me countless times.. Always a gentleman.. Everytime he emailed me, for some reason, his name reminded me of that guy on Saturday Night Live, that later did the comedy spy movies, Mike Meirs.


This really gets to me. I am sorry to hear this. Pointy was a major voice here. I cant believe we only just found out.

My condolences to his family and friends. For us, we lose a SOH family member.

Hey All,

Real Bummer that Mike has left us. He will be missed. I never saw anybody more enthused about a particular aircraft than he was about the Champ. These three are the best Champ paints I know of. Thank You Caz! I remember how enthused Pointy was when he first saw these - the tractor paints: Ford, Minneapolis Moline and John Deere. RIP Mike.

Not coming here often I have just found out about this.

This deeply saddens me. Being from the same area of the country and in the same industry we had a lot in common. I will miss Mike.

May you have all the boudin and Dixie (beer) you can hold, friend.
