Classics Hangar Fw190 released!

Very nice Huub, now that we are doing all these version of the Fw-190, I am getting really good at the JG emblems. I certainly know the green dragon is the 2./JG1 emblem. What fun. I will be away this weekend so I will be looking for the above paint as soon as I get home.

Thanks, Tom

Holly Butcher Birds and I am out of town for the weekend. Oh well this is really something to look forward to when I get back home. Thanks guys looking really good.

Question for Alessandro.

I noticed you uploaded the alternative textures for the drop tanks as well. Thanks for these as well. Was there any perticular period or theatre were this text was applied to the droptanks?

Cheers,
Huub

Third thing I noticed is the wingtip vapors are not located correctly. They emanate from a location above the wingtip.

Was this ever fixed? I just got what I assume is the latest version and it's noticeable in both VC and exterior views.

I have just checked DSWO, but the trails on my version start at the correct location. Looking at your screenies it looks like the trails start even before the wings.

dswo, I just can't dublicate that.
Did you by chance play with some aircraft.cfg settings?

I haven't touched aircraft.cfg -- yet! Is it possible that this is specific to the model I was taking the screenshots with? (That's a default paint, as I'm sure you recognize.) If so, this MIGHT explain why other testers haven't noticed it.

SolarEagle, when you saw this the first time, did you see it in all models or just one?

That was the first model I tested.
Is that a permanent thing or has it by chance mysteriously dissappeared by now?

David,

Just noticed your screenshots were taken in FSX replay mode, not during actual flight. When testing it this way I was able to replicate your problem. I then tried some other aircraft, FSX as well as 3rd party and they all did the same thing with the contrails jumping ahead of the wing tips. Seems to be an FSX "feature", not something with the Fw190.
