I have flight ventures from abacus that's a few years old and that has triggers to make objects appear and dissapear at certain points or distances so it should be possible to have fire fighting effects.Javis,
Beautiful work my friend. I do doubt the ability to have one effect cancel the actions of another unrelated effect in FS9 without some serious internals programming. However, it seems there are some who can blow up buildings with bombs and rockets in FSX so it must be possible. It certainly would improve the interest in these tankers.
I would say sticking at 8 US gallons would be just bout right. Thanks Slund, that is good info to have. 10.6lbs per Imperial gallon converts to 8.2lbs per U.S. gallon.

I think someone did a fire retardant drop bucket for a helicpopter a while back. Unfortunatly the F7F and all of the land plane variants involved in fire work use pumped aboard slurries etc and do not have the water scooping ability.
PBY Cat's have been used for this..
True. I was thinking about the Catalina, CL-215, or Mighty Martin Mars. I bet once that one brilliant programmer stands up and gives us the abillity to really kill fires in FS a truckload of striking colored aircraft of many type will suddenly fill our virtual skies. Next to the 7F7 Milton already has the perfect example in his wonderful A-26 and next to the B-25 i could do the TBM as well. Lots to choose from both in FS9 and FSX.
They sure have. I'm about 100% sure that you have seen this clip, who hasn't, but since it is one of the most exiting and funniest aviation clips here it is again for the lost soul that missed it :http://youtu.be/P2nSRHbaEH0
Hey! Bud! Git up !![]()
Hi:
As Milton has more or less done most of the exterior work and we have currently split the planes into three groups, the Dash ones. Dash threes and the Fire bomber, work will mostly be behind the scenes and rather incremental for a bit. Looks to be one of the best in the classic Milton Style!
Cheers: T
Oh good lord those textures are stunning! Milton, is there a possibility that at some point in the future we might have those kinda textures on your good ol' D18?
Thanks :ernae:
