FlightSim Developers P38 Now Released

Sorry - can you confirm that we will have to download the whole lot again in a while?
 
If you have been getting an error 1173, try the new installers I just uploaded. You might want to download the smaller of the two to save some bandwidth.

Let me know this this corrects the issue.

At this early stage am hanging back a bit before attempting install. May redownload the full installer again later if need be,

It looks like the 329MB is the final file size. Im downloading it myself to give it a try. Give it a go!

Love that Red Bull aircraft..modern avionics going to be nice with RTW... was up to 330 knots@ 12K.
 
Oh dear - frame rates are struggling over 11fps in external views over sea!! Smooth inside the cockpit - its a bit like the probs with the Nemeth Huey
 
I noted with this aircraft turning off aircraft shadows and ground shadows would greatly increase framerates on less powerful machines .

Aircraft shadows almost double the number of polygons being drawn.

Dont have that prob on others. Do the textures look right on this?

This plane is beautiful. And I love the modern cockpit in the Red Bull one. Nice option. A little different. I did notice I have an invisible pilot "bon homme" flying my plane. See? Not a huge deal for me, but I know this would be big for others.

Hit "Shift 1"
You will see 4 different avaitars
The first one is for the pilot-click on the green bar until it turns red and now you have a pilot!

Manual is in the FSD Folder under Programs

IMNSHO If you have your scenery settings dialed in and don't have performance issues with other aircraft, payware included, you shouldn't ever have to mess with the settings again to "accommodate" an addon aircraft.

Interesting that some here are getting great performance and others not so great, wonder what the differences are.
