I think I am correct in saying that XP 32 can only make use of 3 gig of Ram?
WM, 32-bit system's VAS is limited to 4Gb. You can benefit from total 4GB of RAM and adding "/3GB /userva=2560" switch to your boot.ini (starting from WinXP SP2). In FS9 for example it is a must on the newer hardware, but it also requires editing of the launching file's header to make fs9.exe understand >2Gb memory (with Explorer suite). In FSX sp2 the exe understands >2Gb by default already. I don't know how massive is OFF3.exe but I'll try to edit the header when I get my DVD. One of its implications is that you should really avoid video cards with >512Mb on a 32-bit system when using this switch in boot.ini, since the OS and and video memory can conflict at times fighting in the same area of virtual address space (video memory takes over the complete continuous block of addresses, think if it is 1Gb video + the game + OS may result in stutters). So, though RAM is not directly connected to 4Gb VAS limit, 4Gb RAM total can be beneficial to your 32-bit OS and games.
